The Board should make an immediate public statement to kill this off and show bent Allardici to be the shallow gobshite he is.

I don't think they really could. Even if they punished us on the weight of evidence I'm sure that legally they'd have nothing other than BFS making a "mistake".

Just a quick question, if this was an informal.agreement done on a gentleman's handshake, how can the Premier league actually prove it? Not even our board level buffoons wouldn't be daft enough to have written evidence of such an agreement Shirley?

West brom could've played just honouring an agreement, shame Sam has no honour. Its not the 1st time and got the signing done quickly.

Maybe Fat Sam is still bitter over his exit from the Club and thought that by him gobbing off would get us into trouble, I'm basing this on his comments after the game where he refers to us
"I'll have to wait and see before I answer anything that might cause me, West Ham or anybody else any trouble, I'll wait to see what the Premier League say."

It does make me wonder if, as a couple have said, Allardyce did it to get sacked?
This could be him saying look at me I'm whiter than white (yeah right) after the England management job debacle, and if he gets sacked, then he's probably have a decent case for unfair dismissal as all his did was tell the truth.

But Sullivan is the best in the business with transfers and negotiations and backed up by the best in the business Brady. Well that is Gold's mantra for the last 10 or so years.
These jokers live in the past. In the interconnected, social media world we now live in, everything gets amplified and its arguably why political correctness has morphed into "woke" and cultural marxism.
You have to be squeeky clean in everything you do and you would have thought the owners and MD of a club that had been on the end of a 30 million fine would be even more inclined to be that way, But perhaps it points to the background of our "dodgy" owners, their previous industry experience and "nod and wink" agreements, cash in hand bungs etc?
Alternatively, Sullivan gets a "power boost" by giving the OK to take him earlier and do them a favour? His Little Man syndrome being insatiable ? All conjecture, speculation but to me plausible reasons.
Anyway, you would think it was a "we rather you didn't play him against us if we allow you to sign him ahead of teh Wolves game" verbal agreement. A fine probably.
But us fatalist West Ham supporters who have seen Manny gate, Tevez Gate etc.. would not be surprised by a 12 point deduction but WBA get just a warning and we replay the game :-)

Allardyce being a cunt.
West Brom board probably aren't too happy with him but like usual he's got himself a job where he has all the power - big Walrus in a small pond.
Soon got found out when he stepped outside of his comfort zone. Seems like his own club will be in trouble too if true, so he really is a fucking div.
We must have one capable lawyer at the club surely, although I guess naively we would have thought this would never come out.

A secret deal was ironed out with Sam, out board and premier league.
Snoddy don't play and we lose rights to any penalty shouts for a season.
